What is the Omega Fitness Walking Challenge?
Are you looking for a way to start moving more? Do you need a little friendly competition to get you motivated? Get ready for the Omega Fitness Walking Challenge!  Walking is a great way to meet the American Heart Association's recommendations for physical activity for adults. It is recommended that all adults get at least 150 minutes per week of moderate-intensity aerobic activity or 75 minutes per week of vigorous aerobic activity, or a combination of both, preferably spread throughout the week.
The goal of the Challenge is to increase the physical activity levels of Brothers, family and friends.


How Does the Omega Fitness Walking Challenge Work?
The challenge will be managed through the Nike Run Club App. The App will automatically record the data to a leader board on the mobile app. To participate in our challenge, you must download the Nike Run Club App and join the HNN Omega Fitness Walking Challenge. 

Prize!
The challenge will use the Nike Run Club App data to determine a winner. The top overall participant at the end of the challenge will win a $50 gift card!


How to Join 

  1. Registration is free and open now!
  2. Download the Nike Run Club App to your phone
  3. Once you've downloaded the App, make sure you have entered the Omega Psi Phi 2024 April Walking Challenge

Rules

  1. The Omega Fitness Walking Challenge starts on April 1 and ends April 30, 2024.   
  2. You can count any steps from any activity.   
  3. The winner will be determined by the information collected on the Nike Run Club App.
