Join the Eta Nu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. for the Walk With Me Sugar 5K Run/Walk Against Diabetes—a FREE community event dedicated to promoting wellness, celebrating heritage, and raising awareness about diabetes in our community.

This family-friendly event welcomes all ages and fitness levels. Whether you choose to run the full 5K or walk a mile in honor of loved ones, your participation supports life-changing diabetes education and prevention efforts.

Event Highlights:

- Scenic route through Genoa Park, Columbus, OH

- Free registration, giveaways, and commemorative T-shirts (while supplies last)

- Health screenings and local wellness resources

- Live DJ, entertainment, and family fun

- Opportunities to honor those impacted by diabetes

In 2020, non-Hispanic Black or African Americans were more than three times as likely to be diagnosed with end stage renal disease due to diabetes than non-Hispanic whites.
