Eta Nu Nu Supports the Komen Race for the Cure


On May 17, 2026, Eta Nu Nu participated in the Komen Race for the Cure in support of breast cancer research, awareness, and advocacy. Brothers joined thousands of participants in raising awareness and demonstrating support for survivors, those currently battling the disease, and efforts to find a cure.​

Honoring Military and Community Excellence


On Memorial Day 2026, Basileus Bro. Askia Shaheer and Bro. Nicholas Holmes attended the Memorial Day Awards Ceremony hosted by the Columbus NPHC and the Mt. Vernon Area District Improvement Association. During the ceremony, they had the honor of accepting the 2026 Hero Award on behalf of Bro. Ernest Coleman in recognition of his outstanding military and community service. The award celebrated Bro. Coleman’s lasting commitment to serving both his country and the community.​

Eta Nu Nu Celebrates Teachers at Westgate Alternative Elementary
Honoring Educators Through Service


On May 8, 2026, the Brothers of Eta Nu Nu hosted a cookout for the teachers and staff of Westgate Alternative Elementary School as a token of appreciation for their dedication and service to students. The event provided an opportunity to recognize the important role educators play in shaping young minds and strengthening our community.​

Join us on June 12, 2026 for a day on the greens in support of scholarships and youth development. Proceeds benefit our educational initiatives and community impact efforts.

Stand with us on August 22, 2026 as we raise awareness and promote healthier lifestyles in the fight against diabetes. This community-focused event encourages wellness, prevention, and support. 

On September 12, 2026, join us for this powerful program dedicated to educating and empowering men about prostate health and the importance of early detection. We encourage all men and families to attend as we promote awareness, prevention, and life-saving conversations.

Eta Nu Nu is committed to enhancing the life chances of people of color as demonstrated by the many community service projects with which it is involved. In less than two years, Eta Nu Nu was twice recognized as Social Action Chapter of the Year by the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's Fourth District which covers the states of Ohio and West Virginia. In April 2021, Eta Nu Nu won honors as the 4th District Small Chapter of the Year. In June 2022, Eta Nu Nu was the only Fraternity in Columbus, Ohio to receive the NPHC Columbus' Outstanding Leadership Award demonstrating our commitment to service. 

In 2023, 2024 and 2025 we were again recognized by the Fourth District as  4th District Chapter of the Year, 4th District Basileus of the Year, 4th District Colonel Charles Young Military Leadership Award, 4th District Graduate Scholar of the Year.
